How custody is kept.

Custody is not a vehicle type or a lock. It is whether a named person can be produced for every step a unit took.

Serial logged at both ends

Recorded at pickup and again at handover, so a gap is visible rather than assumed away.

Named crews, not subcontractors

The same police-checked technicians run the job end to end. No transfers between unknown hands.

Controlled handover

Released only to a named recipient. If that person is not there, it is not left at reception — it returns to the secure hold.

Documented exceptions

Anything that deviates from plan is recorded on the day, with who authorised it.

Records retained

Custody, installation and decommission records held for the length of the contract and available on request.

Data-bearing devices

Tracked as individual assets. Data destruction is subcontracted to a specialist rather than performed in-house; the custody record either side of it is Honor's. A Certificate of Data Destruction is issued by Asset LifeCycles Management Group (ALM Group).
